SERVE DAY 2025

We are gearing up for our annual SERVE DAY across all our campuses where we partner with Wave City Care to make an impact and serve our communities. We have different opportunities in all our locations!

SATURDAY, AUGUST 9th, 2025

So what does Serve Day at my campus look like, & how do I sign up?

  • GREAT NECK CAMPUS DETAILS:
    • Bayside High School: Landscaping, cleaning, classroom setup
    • Bayside Middle School: Landscaping, cleaning, classroom setup, binder assembly, and painting
    • Yardwork for Military Spouses with Deployed Husbands & Single Moms
    • CHKD: Assemble children’s activity bags and write “Get Well Soon” cards at Great Neck Campus
    • Food Distribution: Pack and deliver groceries to local families at Great Neck Campus
    • Military – Operation Gratitude: Kids will color patriotic pictures and write kind notes to include in Operation Gratitude care packages
    • School Supply Drive: Bring donations to support local VB families (Pencils, notebooks, binders, backpacks)
    • Teacher Appreciation: Once teams wrap up their projects, we’ll have a space where volunteers can write “Thank You” cards to bless and encourage our local teachers.
    • TIME:8:15 AM – 12:30 PM

    • SINGLE MOM/ MILITARY YARDWORK REQUEST FORM

  • SEABOARD CAMPUS PROJECTS:
    • Volunteers at the Seaboard Campus will meet at 9:00 AM at Creeds Elementary location to receive project details and assignments for the day.
    • TIME: 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM

  • NORFOLK CAMPUS PROJECTS:
    • Ingleside Elementary School: Teacher’s assistance, landscaping, and classroom setup
    • Norview Elementary School: Teacher’s assistance, landscaping, and classroom setup
    • Sherwood Elementary School: Teacher’s assistance, landscaping, and classroom setup
    • TIME: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
